How Can My Child Join the Folklore Group (Rancho Camponeses do Minho)

If your child is interested in joining the Rancho Camponeses do Minho group, here’s how you can get started:

1. Attend a Practice Session
The best way to get involved is to come to one of our weekly practice sessions held every Friday morning at the Sport Club Português. Practices start at 9:00 AM at the club. This is a great opportunity to meet the instructors, see the group in action, and experience the traditional Portuguese folk dances firsthand.

2. Youth and Adult Groups Available
We offer two Rancho groups:

• Youth Rancho – Designed for children and teenagers who want to learn and perform traditional Portuguese folk dances.

• Adult Rancho – For adults who want to join and participate in the folklore traditions.
