Sport Club Português – Weekend Soccer Team Results

Sport Club Português is proud to share the results of its soccer teams, who participated in several matches over the past weekend. Representing our club and the Portuguese community with distinction, our athletes demonstrated competitive spirit, talent, and unity on the field.

UPSL – First Team
The SCP senior team tied 1-1 against NJ Alliance in a very competitive match. The goal for our team was scored by Ricardo, securing an important point in the competition.

Over-30 Alumni
With an impressive performance, the SCP Over-30 team defeated MASA with a commanding 8-0 win.

Over-40 Veterans
In a balanced match, the Over-40 veterans team drew 2-2 with Roma. Both of SCP’s goals were scored by Galego, who stood out on the field.

Ironbound SCP Premier – Amateur Cup
In an exciting Amateur Cup match, SCP Premier was defeated 3-2 by Atlético Boston after extra time. The game was decided in the final moments with a controversial penalty kick for an alleged handball.

The junior team tied 1-1 against the Kearny Scots, showing continuous development and great team spirit.
